The wood and wood-related products manufacturer will create approximately 120 jobs at its new plant in Orangeburg County, SC over the next several years.
Universal Forest Products will invest $6.1 million to open a new manufacturing facility in Orangeburg County, SC. Operating as UFP Cameron, LLC, the provider of wood and wood-related products is projected to create more than 120 new jobs over the next several years.
“We are excited about this opportunity, which has been made possible, in large part, through the assistance and cooperation of the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Orangeburg County Development Commission,” said Universal Forest Products Regional Vice President J.F. Granger.
UFP Cameron, LLC will be located at 106 Logistics Drive in Cameron, SC and is expected to come online in the fourth quarter of 2018. The facility will be dedicated to manufacturing products for the industrial market.
